Joel: 2009

Amidst my posts on re-entry I think it’s time to clarify a bit about how I’ll be spending 2009.
Having wrapped up my year in Vanuatu, I’m now gearing up to finish my degree in nanotechnology while working two days a week with Credo, my home AFES group.

So, this means that there’ll be some choices for those of you who have been so generously supporting me with prayer and finances.
You can…

Keep Giving

Since I’m working two days a week with AFES, I’ll still be needing to raise some funds to support my work. Thanks to your incredible giving, I had little trouble with my funding while in Vanuatu, and would love to continue to partner with you in the work of the gospel at UTS. However, as I’ll be working less days, I’ll only need around $3000 for the entire year. If you’d like to continue supporting me, please let me know and update your info at the AFES portal.

Give Elsewhere

Some of you may want to continue supporting the work of the gospel in Vanuatu, in which case some very worthy groups you can donate to are SIL and Scripture Union Vanuatu.

Keep Praying

Some of you may not be able to continue supporting me financially (the last thing I’d want in begrudging supporters!), but please keep praying for Vanuatu, it’s university students, as well as myself and the team at Credo as we seek to glorify God in a very different context!

To all of you who have been partnered with me, thank you so very very very very very very very much!
