Prayer Points - Jan 2008
Lots has been happening, and still needs doing, so I need lots of prayer!

For those hit by the recent cyclone – it passed right by Santo Island where Talua and most of my friends are. I haven’t been able to reach anyone or find any news about the effect, so I’m praying that no news is good news…
For the students at the university I’ll be serving with, I still haven’t been able to touch base with them – pray that God will be building them up in His Word to be strong and godly leaders for His church
For the final things I have yet to organise – I’m struggling to get a straight answer on whether I need a work permit or not, and haven’t been able to find out much about long-term accommodation in Vila
That God might use everything I do now and always to bring glory to His name!

A few updates: – My sources in Vila tell me that the damage to Santo was minimal – I’ve managed to make contact with my group – A few leads on accommodation look promising
